The most widely used core in pickleball, and the core in our standard paddles. Polymer honeycomb gives a consistent, controlled response, and it suits most teams, gifts and recreational players.

Thermoformed honeycomb is sealed into one piece, and in independent lab testing it is the most controlled core family. Adding foam around the edge of the honeycomb gives more pop than plain honeycomb while keeping a familiar feel. Our Gen 3, Gen 4 and Gen 5 cores are built this way.

Aramid and Nomex honeycomb use aramid fiber for the cell walls instead of polymer, a material first developed for aerospace. We build aramid on its own and on our Gen 4 build.

Full foam cores (EPP, EVA and MPP) are the most powerful core family in independent lab testing. How powerful a foam paddle is depends heavily on the density of the foam and on who makes it, which is why we build several full foam cores, from classic EPP to framed and ringed designs.

Raw carbon fiber is the most common face on competitive paddles. It gives a crisp, controlled response, and the texture pressed into the face is what grips the ball. Spin comes mostly from that texture, not from the fiber itself.

Textured carbon

We offer grip levels from light to our grippiest. Our standard grip is built to the USA Pickleball limit; the two grippiest levels go past it and are for recreational play.

Carbon grades and weaves

T300 is our standard carbon. T700 and patterned weaves such as 3K, 12K and 18K are available as upgrades.

Titanium carbon weave works metallic fiber into the carbon face, in silver, blue, gold or rose gold. There is too little independent lab data to say how it changes power or spin, so choose it for its finish.

Kevlar weave faces give a little more pop than carbon in independent lab testing, and resisted twisting slightly better in most comparisons. They come in ten colors.

Fiberglass flexes more than carbon and gives more pop than carbon in independent lab testing. It also costs less than carbon.

A good fit for recreational programs, gifts and value-focused builds.

Wood-based surfaces are typically used for novelty, promotional, and entry-level paddles. While they offer affordability and visual appeal, they do not provide the performance or durability of composite materials.

Canvas primarily focuses on advanced composite constructions but can support wood-based programs when appropriate for gifting, fundraising, or special projects.

Combines elements of standard and elongated designs to deliver added reach while maintaining forgiveness and stability.

Features a wider face and larger sweet spot for maximum forgiveness and stability. Great for beginners, doubles players, and defensive styles.
